Sandestin trip

The second week of September I'll be going to a trade show in Sandestin for a trade show for one of our distributors.

Going down sunday, drinking sunday night. Hanging out and drinking on the beach Monday. Going to a dinner Monday night and drinking some more. Tuesday is the show for all of 6 hours then going home. Oh and all of this including the drinking is paid for by our distributor. Looking forward to this very much.

If the weather is going to be good I'll be riding down along the coast the whole way. I'll be taking 319 down to 98 then 98 all the way to destin. I'll be making a stop in Panama City to visit with my grandma a minute then to Destin where the free booze will be awaiting me.

If all goes according to plan it should be a pretty chill ride.

Update

So I have not followed through with this blog like I intended so here is an update. I figured Id post a little something about myself and my bike.

Ive been riding for two years or so and just recently bought my first Harley. Shes a '98 sportster hugger with a big bore kit, hot cams, screaming eagle exhaust and intake. It was the first bike the lady I bought from owned. Her name is Pearl. The lady named it after her grandma who helped her purchase it clandestinely from her mother. She bought it new off the show room floor and named it after her grandma after she passed. Ive kept the name because I feel all vessels should have a name and that if it was named after someone as cool as pearl I was going to keep it in her honor. The engine work was done about 1000 miles before my purchase of it along with a beautiful custom navy blue metalic paint job. this is pearl

I havent done any modifications yet due to the lack of funds I have right now. I originally intended to remove the saddle bags but their utility is much greater than I had anticipated. has factory mini apes which I hope to replace with biltwell keystone bars. The exhaust I plan on replacing with some short shotgun exhausts mainly so I can install forward controls. Im going to cut the rear fender and that will be about it.

I changed the oil today with some royal purple 20w-50 and it runs beautifully.  I love riding here in south georgia however once the sun goes down the bugs come out and they are so thick it feels like riding in the rain.

Got a short one nighter camping trip in the works for the beginning of september. If all goes well I will have some pics and some write ups on some of the other bikes in CCR.

Beginning

Decided to make a blog for our club to post information on our rides and pictures from past rides and other miscellaneous bike stuff.

We're a bike club out of Tallahassee Fl. We have just a handful of people we ride with but I hope we grow with some more rad people. The club hasn't really gotten things off the ground yet due to not enough free time to organize rides at the moment but maybe this will be the first step to get things moving.
